Mr. Farooque Moosa Sorathia is an established personnel in the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of marketing free-hold residential units as well as real estate property management.
Mr. Sorathia earned his MBA in Marketing as well as a Masters degree in Systems from the University of Pune (India). During his professional career, he has advanced through a series of promotions owing to vast knowledge and commendable leadership skills. He has played an active role in many real estate development companies, including the Property One Investment Co., where he served as Head of Property Management between 2011 and 2016.
Mr. Sorathia is known for his significant role in improving the overall impact of business strategies. He has helped in impacting individuals’ performance by incorporating many management skills, which qualified him to successfully lead teams within his organization.
Mohammed Al Alawi has recently joined Al-Tijaria on April, 2018 as Senior Projects Manager to contribute and gain knowledge to develop the corporate goals. He managed a consultancy office, was the Director of Equal Engineering spc & Area Manager of Spectrum Engineering Consultancy sarl at a time.
Holding a Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering & Construction Science from Kansas State University, USA and a Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management from the University of Leeds, UK as (British Council-Bahrain Scholarship). He was assigned as a Managing Director for three years for the JW Directorate – Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, Public Sector - Kingdom of Bahrain. He also worked with an international construction company in Bahrain - GP Zachariades, a leading company in the kingdom - for 7 years on a variety of different sizes of projects. In 1997, he was assigned as the Chief of the Engineering Services & Maintenance Department at Waqf Directorate JWD.
Throughout his career he has conducted a number of VM studies in the Kingdom and in GCC and demonstrated improving value-for-money delivery of projects. As he holds Foundation, Advanced VM I and Advanced VM II certificates with Professor Steven Male under the IVM accredited European Governing Board VM program; now I am a pVM and tVM in profession. He is SAVE-International certificated as well.
He also managed lead teams on commercial, industrial, education and health projects where the highest standards are routinely demanded. Always looking to be actively involved in all aspects of the project life-cycle, where he can deliver high-value projects in matrixed organizations and across different characteristics.
As a part time teaching, He taught different courses in Engineering and Management for different Universities and Institutes in The Kingdom of Bahrain and GCC.
Basem has been a professional expert with Civil/Structure Engineering and construction management for more than 20 years from development to delivery, encompassing planning, monitoring, overall inter-discipline coordination. He has professional experience in buildings and infrastructure (roads and utilities). Basem is registered in The Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions – Bahrain as (Category A), he is PMP certified and holds B.Sc. Degree in Civil Structure Engineering and a Diploma in Construction Management.
Basem performed many housing building projects, including infrastructure work such as roads and utilities for more than 500 units in one project. He performed and supervised many high-rise towers, hospitals, hotels, and commercial complexes. Basem has good knowledge of FIDIC - RED Book and ensures all work is done as per the RED Book and contracts, he is capable to monitor the cost and manage within the project budget and rise reports to Managements.”

Mr. Fawaz started his career in 1994 as a Service Engineer at Yokogawa Middle East Company, where he thrived in his position, His determination to success and hard work contributed to his success in the job he performed. Realising his potential and capabilities, Mr. Fawaz, climbed up the ranks of the company to thus hold the position of Senior Engineer at Yokogawa Middle East E.C.
During his tenure, Mr. Fawaz served with many leading integral companies in Bahrain. He identified business drivers and solved complex issues when he worked with Abad Real Estate Company, a subsidiary of Bahrain Islamic Bank. He has actively contributed to the development of company strategies focusing greatly on the industry specific expertise ensuring superior relationships with clients and at the same time, contributed to the outstanding growth of Bahrain’s economy. With his innovativeness and efficiency, he joined Bahrain Islamic Bank, where he served as an Assistant Manager. Implementing his skills to strengthen the organisation’s competitiveness, whilst making the most of the companies’ potential of creating an impact.
